Two so-called “peace activists” attempted to reach a US military aircraft with the intention of searching and tampering with it, have been arrested this morning in Shannon airport.
The aircraft was being protected by members of An Garda and the Defence Forces who were able to thankfully intercept the pair.
They were arrested and removed from the area before being taken to Shannon Garda station for questioning.
The stupid stunt follows Mick Wallace and Claire Daly’s failed attempt at reaching a plane in 2014.
