Two teenagers in Belgium have been arrested for allegedly plotting an Islamic terrorist attack. The two youths, aged 16 and 17, were detained after raids on their homes in the Liege region of the country on October 31st.
According to the Guardian, police found a recorded video of the two teens pledging allegiance to Islamic State and the duo are understood to have been planning a stab attack against police officers. They are currently in a youth detention facility as investigations continue.
In 2016 a massive terror attack on the airport and metro system of Belgium’s capital Brussels left 32 dead and many more injured.
