Two weather warnings are currently in place for wind, rain, and possible flooding as miserable weather conditions spread across the country.
The first warning affects Galway, Mayo, Clare, Cork and Kerry. It will remain in place until 9pm tonight. Strong winds of up to 100km/h are forecast in many of these locations.
The second warning is in place for Cork, Kerry, and Waterford, and will remain in effect until 11pm tonight. These counties will see long spells of heavy rain, which might lead to localized flooding.
