Two young women have been left in a critical condition in hospital following a road crash in an Irish county.
The incident happened on the N53 road in Rassan, Dundalk, Co. Louth at 8.30pm on Sunday evening. It is understood that the car collided with a tree.
Two female passengers, aged 23 and 21, were rushed to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital with critical injuries. Two young males also traveling in the car sustained less serious injuries.
