A very typical Irish summer weather pattern will play out over most of the country today.
There will be some bright and sunny spells, but also showers, particularly over parts of Ulster and Leinster.
It will remain cool also, with temperatures ranging between 14-18C.
The showers are expected to die out towards the evening, giving way to a dry and cool night, with misty patches expected to develop towards morning.
