A woman who went into labour on board a flight to America which then forced her flight to be diverted to Dublin, has given birth to baby girl just after 25 weeks.
The woman named Jenny Drake from Kentucky had given birth to her little girl within 4 minutes of arriving at Dublin’s Rotunda Hospital. Jenny who was just 25 weeks(6 months) pregnant went into labour on her flight a short time after take off on Saturday evening, she was then attended to by medics at Dublin airport before she was quickly rushed to the Rotunda Hospital where she gave birth to little Zoe Ireland.
The new born baby girl who weigh’s less than 2 pounds is expected to remain in intensive care at Dublin’s Rotunda maternity hospital for the next few months.
