In the most high-tech general election ever held in the UK, the exit polls show things are about to get shook up.

The Conservatives have powered their way to an almost majority. They’re predicted to get a minimum of 316. An overall majority is 326. Either way, David Cameron is going to continue as Prime Minister.

Labour’s David Milliband has taken somewhat of a hammering. Instead of gaining seats and possibly getting into 10 Downing St, they’ve lost around 20 seats. His leadership is now in jeopardy.

Those seats went mostly to the SNP who have a projected 58 seats.

The Lib Democrats took a trouncing. They’re projected to lose 47 of their 57 seats – and Nick Clegg will more than likely lose the leadership.

Along with the SNP, the big news is that UKIP leader Nigel Farage will get his seat and another UKIP seat is in the bag.

The remaining seats are broken up in Northern Ireland and Wales.

There’s an outside chance that the Northern Ireland’s DUP could end up in government with the Conservatives and UKIP.

Final results are expected at 4am.

A long, interesting and exciting night ahead.
