UK experts say that they can’t confirm nerve agent in Salisbury attack originated in Russia

UK experts at Porton Down investigating the nerve agent attack on former spy Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia have determined that they cannot claim the agent used originated in Russia.

They did confirm the nerve agent was novichok however.

The UK government moved quickly to blame Russia for the alleged chemical attack and as result 120 Russian diplomates have been expelled from the UK and various other countries including the U.S and several EU member states.

The British government has of yet been unable to provide any actual evidence to show that the Russian government was behind the attack and the Kremlin has stringently denied involvement citing the fact that such as obvious and brazen attack would only be detrimental to Russia’s interests.

The Russian government has retaliated in a tit-for-tat manner to every country that has expelled its diplomats and has strongly suggested that attack may in fact been the work of British intelligence in an attempt to frame Russia.
