UK girls school to cease using the word “girl” allegedly to avoid upsetting transgenders

A female only state school in the UK has informed students and parents that it will cease using the word “girl” for fear of offending transgender and gender non-conforming pupils.

Altrincham Grammar School for Girls in Manchester, one of the UK’s top-performing state schools, will now only address students with gender-nonspecific nouns.

Head Teacher Stephanie Gill told parents in a letter that the school’s new approach came as a response to “the challenges facing our students who are questioning their gender identity or who do not identify as girls.” Russia Today reports.

In the letter to the parents of the student body, Ms Gill explains “for many transgender students, being misgendered can be very hurtful”.

In recent times, schools, universities, companies and even governments have begun to alter the use of language to accommodate transgender ideology.
