With Ireland, France and Italy imposed hefty lockdowns, it’s now looking as though the UK could be following suit very shortly.
The UK’s health department has reported 24,701 more coronavirus infections over the last 24h.
The official number of infections there now stands at 942,275. Local health authorities have also reported 310 additional deaths.
