UK government has slashed its funding of the “UN Population Fund” by 85%, causing outrage from UN funded abortion groups. UN estimate there were 1.4 million “unintended pregnancies” in 2020 due to COVID-19 restrictions.
As part of the UK government’s pandemic cost saving plans, foreign aid has been slashed by 80% with aid to the UN Population Fund being cut by 85% reports the BBC.
The UN Population Fund provides money and aid to family planning and abortion groups throughout the world to control their population growth. In a recent report produced by the UN Population Fund titled the Impact of Cvid-19 on family planning the UN Population Fund estimates there have been 1,400,000 million “unintended pregnancies” in 2020.
The UN population Fund has accused the UK government of going back on its promises by cutting aid by 85% in the period 2021-2022.
