The UK is ready to bring in up to 5,000 foreign drivers to alleviate the supply crisis in the country.
The British Government had previously ruled out accepting foreign drivers, opting instead to train British nationals.
Despite this shameful U-turn, authorities say that there is a need for no fewer than 100,000 new drivers, if supply is to remain at normal levels
