The UK has reported 621 new deaths from Covid-19-related causes over the last 24h. They remain in serious trouble even though there’s a major push on for an easing of lockdown measures.
The total death toll there now stands at 28,131.
This figure includes people who have died from Covid-19-related causes in hospitals, care homes, and other settings.
