The UK has seen its first snowfall of this winter following a dramatic plunge in temperatures.
Snow fell on the northernmost dales in Yorkshire Dales National Park on Tuesday afternoon.
The Met Office is not forecasting widespread snowfalls for now, but has warned of chilly conditions over the next few days.
