NATO has issued a strong warning to Russia, saying that a nuclear strike in Ukraine would ‘almost certainly trigger a physical response.’
Russian President Vladimir Putin, whose regular army has failed miserably on the battlefield against a far superior and resourceful foe, has resorted to threatening a nuclear launch as his options dwindle fast and the prospect of utter defeat looms large.
The United States and its European allies have reportedly drawn up contingency plans should Putin press the nuclear button. In this comes to pass, most of Russia’s remaining army in Ukraine is likely to be immediately annihilated, the Black Sea fleet will probably meet a watery end, the Kerch Strait bridge will be blown to tiny bits live for the Russian President to watch, and the life of Mr. Putin himself will possibly be terminated by his own people.
