In what’s the clearest sign yet that Russia has been thoroughly and decisively defeated in Ukraine, Russian President Vladimir Putin has said that he wants the war to end ‘as soon as possible.’
Mr. Putin made the comments during a summit in Uzbekistan earlier today.
The Russian army has lost most of the ground it seized during the last six months in less than a week, following a brilliantly executed counter-offensive operation by the Ukrainian military.
