Ukrainian air defence grid worked as intended overnight, shooting down an entire wave of incoming drones, with no fewer than 15 aircraft destroyed.
Ukrainian intelligence determined that the aircraft were launched from a northerly direction, specifically from the Kursk region. Northern and central air defence commands were activated to counter the threat.
Notably, it has now been confirmed that the United States will allow Denmark and the Netherlands to deliver F-16 jets to Ukraine, once Ukrainian pilots are trained to fly them. These modern jets will help Ukraine assert air superiority, which will stop Russia’s ground offensive moments in their tracks.
