In a clear sign of the dire state of the Russian army, it has emerged today that military recruiters are picking up the most dangerous and violent criminals in the prison system for the frontlines.
It is understood that murderers, rapists, sex offenders, and other assorted criminals are being offered freedom in exchange for their willingness to join the army and fight against Ukraine. And according to reports, these unfortunates are told that they will be executed if they run away from the fight, and that they’re to blow themselves up if caught.
The only comfort is that most of these people are just cannon fodder and will be killed by professional Ukrainian troops shortly after arriving in the country.
