In another tale of unparalleled heroism coming out of Ukraine, a former software engineer reportedly commandeered an abandoned Russian tank and proceeded to annihilate 24 Russian vehicles and three tanks, with a fourth tank kill possible but unconfirmed.
The tank, a Russian-made T-80 nicknamed Bunny, was seized during the initial phase of the invasion. It was quite common at the time for tank crews to abandon their vehicles after running out of fuel, or simply in fear of combat.
The Ukrainian military took full advantage of their opponent’s terror by seizing these abandoned assets and using them against Russian targets with deadly efficiency.
