The Government is reportedly planning to build four more tent cities across Ireland to house the endless stream of refugees coming in.
The idea is to house incoming refugees in these camps for no longer than a week, before they’re moved into ‘permanent’ housing.
It is unclear what ‘permanent’ exactly means here, as there don’t appear to be any more buildings or structures in the country that could possibly admit more people. Meanwhile, the 10,000-odd homeless people here can only watch as tens of thousands of refugees are offered immediate accommodation.
