Netflix has confirmed that it will suspend its streaming services in Russia with immediate effect.
Recently, Netflix refused to comply with a new law that requires platforms with over 100,000 subscribers to broadcast channels sponsored by state TV.
It is unclear what will happen to the approximately 1m Netflix customers in Russia.
