Plans for a sham referendum in the Kherson area have been ‘put on hold’ as the Ukrainian army approaches the city.
The illegal, Russia-backed administrative body of the occupied city had pushed for a ‘referendum’ to become part of the Russian Federation.
Ukraine has warned citizens in the occupied areas to not participate in any such sham event.
