Russia might have lost upwards of 41,000 troops in Ukraine already, plus countless tanks, aircraft, artillery pieces, and other war materiel.
The figures were published by Ukrainian sources, as Russia tends to hide the true extent of the disastrous Ukrainian campaign.
The general consensus is that Russia can no longer make any substantial territorial gains, and it’s simply resorting to a scorched Earth strategy that will yield nothing but hatred and a strong desire for violent revenge by the Ukrainian side in the long run.
