Today marks the 31st anniversary of the liberation of Ukraine from Russian rule, and also the sixth month since the start of the invasion.
The war has turned into a calamitous disaster for Russia, whose armed forces have lost tens of thousands of men and tons of war materiel, for little to no gain.
