Ukraine’s military has inflicted almost 40,000 casualties on the invader, according to Ukrainian sources.
Such huge number is only the human toll. Ukraine has destroyed tons of war material too.
This staggering amount of losses means that Russia will likely never be able to conquer Ukraine, as quite simply Russia does not have enough troops for the job, and that a humiliating defeat is just a matter of time.
