A Ukrainian drone strike has reportedly caused major damage to an oil refinery in Russian territory.
At least two drones were involved. The aircraft struck the Novoshakhtinsk oil refinery in the Rostov region earlier today, causing a massive explosion that could be heard up to 10mi away.
The attack sparked a huge blaze that soon engulfed the facility and all staff working there, prompting the immediate halting of operations.
Ukraine appears to be regaining the initiative, following recent reports of a surprise attack on Snake Island that took out several Russian assets there.
