Ukrainian troops are reportedly receiving training to use 155mm self-propelled howitzers.
This 11-man crew, breech-loaded heavy weapon can deploy a diverse range of ammunition up to a maximum distance of 14,600m. A well-trained crew can fire up to 40 rounds a minute.
On the battlefield, these howitzers can inflict serious damage to Russian targets, particularly when used in combination with drones or other aerial assets.
