Ukraine crisis: Warehouses might now be used to house Ukrainian refugees coming into Ireland

Warehouses might now be used to house Ukrainian refugees coming into Ireland, it has emerged today.

According to the Government, up to 30,000 refugees might be looking for accommodation in Ireland by Easter.

‘Standard’ accommodation like hotels and shared homes is quickly running out as more and more people arrive, so the Government is reportedly looking at housing people in empty warehouses across the country.

Meanwhile, it is unclear what the Government intends to do to help the thousands of homeless people that have been waiting for a home in Ireland for years.
