The White House believes Russia might plant evidence to frame Ukraine for a devastating attack on a prison facility where Ukrainian troops were held.
The Olevnika prison was a pre-trial detention center sited in eastern Ukraine. The facility was recently attacked, resulting in the death of no fewer than 50 prisoners. Many soldiers who fought at the Azovstal plant were being detained there.
Most people believe that Russia deliberately targeted Olevnika to kill the prisoners, and now plans to frame Ukraine for the savage act by planting rocket fragments from Ukrainian weaponry.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is now rightly asking for Russia to be deemed a ‘terrorist state.’
