Ukraine obliterates Russian military facility with UK-supplied Storm Shadow missile strike

Ukraine has reportedly obliterated a Russian military facility with a Storm Shadow missile strike.

The facility, located in Luhanskteplovoz in the Luhansk region, was being used as a repair and refit station for military equipment.

The installation was hit by no fewer than four missiles, which apart from turning the facility into ash, may have killed scores of Russian engineers and troops.

The destruction of the Luhanskteplovoz facility is a key victory for Ukraine, as Russia can no longer repair military vehicles and other equipment promptly or efficiently. This means that a disabled Russian tank, for example, will have to be abandoned by its crew, if they survived the disabling hit, of course. The likelihood is that no Russian crew will survive any hit from hardware fielded by Ukraine, including Leopard 2 tanks, and later, M1 Abrams.
