Ukrainian refugees will be accommodated in modular homes valued at around €145,000 per unit, it has emerged today.
The first such site is being prepared in Mahon, Cork. Refugees will only be required to pay a small fee to live in a fully-equipped dwelling.
It is unclear if the 12,000+ homeless people in Ireland will also be offered similar accommodation.
