The UK’s own ISIS Bride Shamima Begum is reportedly challenging the British Government’s decision to take away her citizenship.
Ms. Begum traveled to Syria from London in 2015 to join ISIS. When next found, she was living in a refugee camp in Syria and heavily pregnant.
The British Government then decided to revoke her citizenship on foot of her allegiance to a known terrorist organization.
But a special committee will now look into the matter, to decide if revoking her citizenship was ‘unlawful’, since she was rendered stateless.
