In what can only be described as an absolutely incredible tennis match, South African Kevin Anderson has beaten American John Isner in a battle of the big men and big servers.

Anderson at 6ft 8 is incredibly 2 inches shorter than 6ft 10 John Isner but there was nothing between them on the court today.

The first three sets went to tie breaks while the fourth saw Anderson win it 6-4.

The fifth set however went on for just under 3 hours and saw both players keeping their serve right up until 24-all. That’s when Anderson managed to break Isner’s serve to go ahead 25-24 and serve it out in over 6 hours to win 26-24.

Kevin Anderson, who beat defending Champion Roger Federer in the Quarter Final, is the first South African to be in the Wimbledon final in 97 years. He’ll either play Novak Djokovic or Rafa Nadal who take to Centre Court shortly.
