The United States has called for the admission of Sweden into NATO without further delay.
It has been a historic day for the preservation of peace across Europe as Finland officially became a member of the military alliance today, with Sweden expected to follow suit soon.
The addition of Sweden’s military might to the defensive coalition will mean a double slap in the face for ailing Russian President Vladimir Putin, whose utmost desire was to prevent NATO from expanding further. Alas, his ill-fated invasion of Ukraine has achieved the exact opposite, turning him into the laughingstock of the world.
