University Hospital Limerick is ‘not fit for purpose’, according to a new report.

The report says that the facility would need no fewer than 665 extra beds to be even remotely appropriate to cater to demand.

The findings are hardly surprising, as the hospital routinely ranks highest in the number of people on trolleys.
