There were a record total of 81 patients waiting on trolleys at University Hospital Limerick today.
According to figures published the INMO, there a total of 594 patients waiting on trolleys across the country.
Figures also showed that a total of 50 patients were on trolleys at Cork University Hospital.
The latest figures have once again led to calls for more to be done in the sector as number continue to increase on a daily basis.
