Gardai have arrested a man in his 20s in relation to the shooting outside Riversdale Community College in Corduff, west Dublin, on Tuesday afternoon.
The attacker fired a gun at a young man who was waiting outside the college. The intended target escaped injury, while the attacker fled on foot.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
