Unlike much larger migrant protests, very small crowd turns out to “welcome migrants” to Waterford

Hundreds of people are now regularly attending migrant protests in their areas demanding that the government vet all migrants coming into the country.

However, a small cohort of people in Waterford decided to hold a counter protest on Saturday.

A very small number of people turned out, compared to the much larger protests we’ve seen in East Wall, Ballymun and beyond.

Notibally, there were actually a number of migrants at the Waterford protest itself, ironically or maybe not, holding placards declaring “migrants welcome”.

Perhaps these people have no realisation of the fact that many, many young, fit, strong male migrants are pouring into Ireland from everywhere and anywhere and are completely unvetted over their past possible criminal lives.

There were a number of LGBTQS2+ flags amongst the crowd too – something that no doubt some migrants in Ireland would strongly disapprove of.

Many people on social media believe that the do-gooders’ boat has turned and that the average decent Irish citizen is now firmly on the side of East Wall and others.
