Just over 5,000 people marched in Dublin yesterday afternoon to protest against the ongoing housing crisis across the country.

The march, which was organized by the National Homeless and Housing Coalition, began at the Garden of Remembrance on Parnell Square and continued down O’Connell Street, ending up at the Customs House where a rally took place.

About 10,000 people across the country are currently listed as ‘homeless’ with up to at least 3,500 children on the list.
