Up to 73,000 Vodafone customers due to receive refunds after the company is found to have failed to properly inform people about top-up terms

Up to 73,000 Vodafone customers are due to receive refunds, after a regulator found that users were not properly informed about Pay-as-you-go top-up terms.

The issue arose after customers who topped up by €20 or €30 might not have been made properly aware that their remaining credit would not accrue or be carried over to the next month. In short, the top-up credit would reset their account every time, wiping out any remaining credit.

The total amount of refunds stands at €416,971.79.
