Gardaí in Co Mayo have now confirmed that both bodies have been recovered during the search for two men who went missing in the early hours of this morning.
The discovery of the second man was made in the past hour at approximately 4pm.
It is understood that both men aged 26 and 27 were found in a stretch of water close to were they entered the river in Louisburgh.
The widespread search operation came after the two men entered the river Carrownisky River approximately 2:30am this morning.
A third man aged 19 was also in the vehicle believed to be an SUV when it entered the water, however thankfully he managed to escape relatively unharmed and raise the alarm.
