Gardaí have confirmed this morning that the victim of a shooting incident on the North Circular Road in Dublin has died.

It is understood the victim a man was pronounced dead at the scene at approximately 8pm last night.
Gardaí say they are currently investigating the incident and the scene remains sealed off in order for forensic examinations to take place.
