Police were called to one of the busiest streets in the world, London’s Oxford St at 4:37pm where reports of a gunman running loose from Oxford Circus tube station and fleeing into Shelfridges department store.
Thankfully, one hour into the debacle it police have re-opened all tube stations and eventually will re-open the shops and streets as it now appears to be a false alarm.
No casualties, shots fired or gunmen have been found near the the area.
