As we reported earlier, Russian media were reporting this afternoon that an aircraft carrying 71 people on board had gone missing after it took off from Moscow.
The aircraft, and Antonov An-148 operated by Saratov Airlines, disappeared after taking off from Domodedovo airport in Moscow.
The flight was en route to Orsk, a city sited close to the Russia-Kazakhstan border.
However tragically it’s been confirmed that the plane did indeed crash with emergency personnel fearing all 71 passengers have been tragically killed.
This story is developing.
