Uproar as new figures show that first-time buyers would have to save for at least 15 years before any chance of buying a property

Welcome to Ireland 2019 where 10,000 people are homeless and thousands around the country are trying to save every cent to one day get onto the property ladder.

New statisticsĀ released show that people intending to buy their first home in Ireland would have to save money for at least 15 years just to be able to afford the deposit. Yes, really.

Houses across half of the country are already out of the reach of most average income earners, a shocking statistic in itself.

Government-enforced policy has meant that homelessness is now an all-time high, as more and more people will never be able to afford payments to either keep a roof over their heads or to buy/rent a house in the first place.
