It’s the talk of social media, the Taoiseach Leo Varadkar has allegedly been heavily linked to become the next President of the European Commission.
According to RTÉ News, the Taoiseach said that he was flattered by the link, but reiterated that he has no plans for a career change.
The Taoiseach also said that he has a job as the Taoiseach of Ireland and he is loving it.
This comes on the back of a very medicore local election campaign for Fine Gael with Varadkar taking it in the neck from some in his own party of Fine Gael’s performance overall.
However, Varadkar genuinely could be in line for a top position as the EU commission contemplates a reshuffle.
