There’s been absolute uproar on social media after the Tanaiste made some very colourful comments about whether people will be able to travel home for Christmas or not.
It’s the most wonderful time of the year – if you can return to Ireland that is.
According to the Tanaiste Leo Varadkar, people shouldn’t book any flights home at the moment due to the international risk of the pandemic still playing its role.
Varadkar joined the Chief Medical Officer Dr Tony Holohan who just last week said that there was absolutely no way in which he could offer advice to people on whether they could travel home to Ireland or not to Ireland for Christmas at this stage.
There has already been much consternation on social media as a result of the controversial remarks.
