The US Administration has approved a $1.1bn (€1.1bn) weapons package for Taiwan amidst rising tensions with nearby China.
US President Joe Biden continues to lead the world in boosting national defence capabilities for countries threatened by hostile actors.
The package includes funding for a state-of-the-art Raytheon early radar warning system, Harpoon II and Sidewinder missiles, and other assorted equipment.
Meanwhile, China can do nothing but throw an infantile tantrum, much like the disgraced former President Trump used to do when things didn’t go his way.
