Florida has been called for Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, giving him the Sunshine State’s 29 electoral votes. After a tough fight, the swing state is a big win for the Trump campaign and the Republican Party.
The state’s high electoral votes made it a hot commodity and Clinton owes her victory to support in Miami, Orlando, Tampa and Tallahassee.
The Florida polls were so intense that a scuffle between a Trump supporter and one other voter resulted in a police intervention. Additionally, two poll workers were fired for “violating professional standards when they responded to a disagreement between two poll watchers,” USA Today has reported.
