Flanked by New Jersey’s Chris Christie, Donald Trump gave a humble and serious victory speech in last night’s Super Tuesday elections.
Trump had won Alabama, Massachusetts, Tennessee, Virginia and Georgia all before he took to the stand at 3am Irish time.
Meanwhile, his closest and this morning – realistically, his own rival, Ted Cruz had only won two States compared to the five for Trump. His wins however were both the big States of Texas and neighbouring Oklahoma.
69-yr-old Trump was seen standing with 54-yr-old Chris Christie and his 33-yr-old son Eric.
Trump now moves forward with the strongest number of delegates and will more than likely be the Republican nominee.
Meanwhile, vocal socialist Bernie Sanders pushed Hilary Clinton in their primaries and said he will remain in the race “no matter wRubio.
It looks like Cruz will win Alaska but just a few hundred votes. That’d be 3 wins for him and a surprise Minnesota win for Rubio
The biggest primary coming up is Florida on March 15th – a must win State for all candidates at this pivotal stage in the campaign season.
